Calling all coding students, juniors or seniors for International Online Coding Hackathon, 2022! You may have just started coding or consider yourself a pro-coder, here is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and bring your creativity into reality. There is a challenge for all levels of coding students, and it is completely free. This is just our way to encourage students to learn and enjoy coding. This highly anticipated event is organised by Learners Academy, Australia and powered by Logical Coders.
Scratch projects must be created with Scratch NOT Scratch Jr (Scratch Junior). Android Apps must be created with Mit App Inventor and be compatible with Android phones and tablets.
Students can participate in either Scratch Challenge or Android App Challenge. Complete details will be provided after registration for the hackathon.
Participation
Who can participate in the coding hackathon?
Students of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate in the Challenge! Students who are new to coding are also encouraged to give it a go! There are no right or wrong answers here! There are two groups juniors and seniors.
- Juniors Age Group is 8 to 11 years old
- Seniors Age Group is 12 to 15 years old
How to participate?
- Register for the hackathon.
- Receive detailed instructions with the success criteria for the project.
- Submit the project as per the details provided by the closing date.

Is there a fee or charges for participation?
No, there is no fee or charge for participation in this event. The event is free.

How will I get the result?
You will receive your results by email. Winners list will be available on our webpage as well.
What is the purpose of the Coding Hackathon?
Our purpose is to promote learning of Coding through this International Online Coding Hackathon..
Can I submit the code at any time?
Yes, you can submit the code anytime between 8th August, 2022 9:00AM to 28th August, 2022 8:59AM AEST. Any code submissions made after the closing date will not be accepted.
Does my child need to have previous coding experience to participate?
No! Anyone can participate as long as they are interested in coding.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes, all participants will get the e-certificate by email. Winners will receive achievement certificates by email.
When will we get more details on the process of challenge?
You will receive detailed information on the process of the challenge by email after the registrations have closed.
Can I make more than one attempt for the challenge?
No, you can only attempt the challenge once. We will only accept one submission from each participant. Students can choose one of the challanges either Scratch or App.
Do I need to be a student at Learners Academy or Logical Coders to participate?
No, anyone aged between 8 to 15 years can join the competition.
